Welcome to Curiolite (“we”, “our”, “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Curiolite (the “Service”).

By accessing or using Curiolite, creating an account, or purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms or the policies referenced above, please do not use the Service.

1. About Curiolite

Curiolite is a science and technology learning platform focused on curiosity-driven learning, concepts, explanations, and educational content.

The Service may include a digital library, learning content, discussions, notifications, and other features designed to support exploration and continued learning.

Curiolite is a digital learning and content platform. Its content is provided for general educational and informational purposes and does not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, scientific, engineering, or other professional advice.

2. Eligibility & Acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old to use Curiolite.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

you are at least 18 years old;
you are legally permitted to use the Service;
the information you provide to Curiolite is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable laws; and
you will use the Service responsibly and lawfully.

3. Accounts & Access

Some features of Curiolite require an account.

You are responsible for:

maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials;
providing accurate account information; and
activity carried out through your account.

You should notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Service or its users, address security concerns, or comply with legal obligations.

4. Memberships & Payments

Curiolite may offer paid membership plans that provide access to the features, content, and access period specified for the selected plan.

The applicable plan, price, and access period will be clearly displayed before a purchase is completed.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Razorpay. Curiolite does not request or store your complete card number, UPI PIN, CVV, or other payment credentials.

Payment-related information such as transaction identifiers, payment status, order information, and membership-related records may be retained as necessary to provide the Service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain accounting records, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

A successful payment does not permit any use beyond the rights and access provided by the selected membership plan.

Membership access begins or is extended according to the applicable plan and the successful processing of the payment.

5. Permitted Use

Curiolite is provided for personal learning and informational purposes.

Unless explicitly permitted by Curiolite, you may not:

copy, reproduce, scrape, extract, sell, license, or redistribute Curiolite content;
systematically download or archive substantial portions of the Service;
use Curiolite content to create a competing content library or service;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code or systems that are not intentionally made available to users;
bypass access controls or membership restrictions;
abuse, overload, interfere with, or disrupt the Service;
use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that could harm or interfere with its operation; or
use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access when misuse or a violation of these Terms is detected.

6. Educational Content

Curiolite provides science and technology content for general educational and curiosity-focused purposes.

We aim to provide thoughtful, useful, and accurate information, but content may contain simplifications, interpretations, opinions, errors, omissions, or information that becomes outdated.

We do not guarantee that all content is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for every individual or situation.

Content should not be treated as professional advice or as a substitute for qualified professional guidance where such guidance is appropriate.

Content may be updated, modified, corrected, replaced, or removed as Curiolite develops.

7. Educational & Experimental Disclaimer

Some Curiolite content may describe scientific concepts, experiments, demonstrations, tools, materials, procedures, technical projects, or other activities.

Curiolite provides such information for educational and curiosity-focused purposes. Curiolite does not supervise activities performed outside the Service and does not guarantee the safety, suitability, or outcome of any activity.

If you choose to perform an experiment, build, modification, demonstration, or other activity inspired by information available through Curiolite, you do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

You are responsible for taking appropriate safety precautions, following applicable instructions and regulations, and obtaining qualified supervision where appropriate.

Curiolite is not responsible for injury, damage, loss, or other consequences resulting from activities performed outside the Service based on information obtained from Curiolite, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Discussions & User-Generated Content

Curiolite may provide discussion areas or other features that allow members to submit comments, questions, discussions, or other content (“User Content”).

You remain responsible for the User Content you submit.

You agree not to submit content that:

is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory;
promotes harmful or dangerous activities;
infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
contains malicious code or attempts to compromise the Service;
contains spam or unauthorized advertising; or
otherwise violates these Terms or applicable law.

By submitting User Content, you grant Curiolite a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, display, and process that content as necessary to operate and provide the relevant features of the Service.

You retain ownership of your original User Content, subject to the rights necessary for Curiolite to operate the Service.

We may remove or restrict User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the Service.

9. Notifications

Curiolite may provide optional browser or device notifications if you choose to enable them.

You understand that notifications depend on browser, device, operating system, network, and third-party delivery systems.

Notifications may be delayed, duplicated, or not delivered.

You can disable notifications through the relevant browser or device settings.

Curiolite is not responsible for notification delivery failures.

10. Intellectual Property

All Curiolite content, including text, graphics, design, branding, logos, interface elements, illustrations, and software, is owned by Curiolite or used under applicable licenses, unless otherwise stated.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service for personal learning purposes during your permitted access period.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from Curiolite content except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by Curiolite.

You may not use Curiolite branding, logos, or other protected materials without permission.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

11. Third-Party Services

Curiolite relies on third-party services where necessary to operate features of the Service, including services for hosting, authentication, payments, notifications, analytics, or other infrastructure.

These services may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Curiolite does not control the independent operation of third-party services and cannot guarantee their uninterrupted availability.

Third-party terms apply to the specific services they provide and do not replace these Terms governing your use of Curiolite.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Our collection, use, storage, and protection of users' personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using Curiolite, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

We aim to collect and retain only the information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service, and we do not sell users' personal data.

13. Service Availability

Curiolite is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will:

be uninterrupted;
be completely error-free;
always be available;
remain unchanged; or
meet every user's expectations or requirements.

Maintenance, updates, technical issues, security measures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect availability.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Curiolite shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

This includes, where legally permitted, losses relating to data, productivity, learning outcomes, decisions made based on educational content, or temporary service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Termination

You may stop using Curiolite at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary:

for violations of these Terms;
to protect users, systems, or content;
to address security or abuse concerns;
to comply with legal obligations; or
where continued operation of an account would create a significant risk to Curiolite or others.

Where applicable, termination or suspension may affect access to membership features.

Refund eligibility, if any, is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

16. Changes to the Service

Curiolite may modify, add, remove, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time.

We may also change membership plans, pricing, access periods, or other commercial terms for future purchases.

Any applicable price or plan will be displayed before a purchase is completed.

Changes will not retroactively alter a membership period that has already been purchased, except where required by law or agreed with the member.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to Curiolite, our practices, applicable law, or other requirements.

When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be revised.

Where appropriate, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

Your continued use of Curiolite after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that you may have under mandatory consumer protection or other applicable laws.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.

20. No Waiver

If Curiolite does not immediately enforce a right or provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, constitute the agreement governing your use of Curiolite, except where additional terms expressly apply to a specific feature or service.
